In New York City, we were asked to develop a design concept and material
specifications for a sign system that would have a unique shape, would be devoid of scrap value, utilize
vandal resistant hardware, and be mounted on a flexible sign pole. The resulting design, utilizing
thermoformed ABS plastic, was accepted and over 15,000 systems have been subsequently installed out of a
total of 22,000 units in the city.
